DAY 2The Reatreat at Ngorongoro LodgeA virgin Tanzanian bush in the Ngorongoro landscape, set in hillside hectares. This relaxed and all-inclusive lodge is short minute drive to Ngorongoro crater.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARKDepart in the morning by road to Tarangire National Park located 120kms out of Arusha town, about 1h30minutes drive. On arrival at the Park gate you will complete Park registration official procedures and enjoy a game drive in the park with your knowledgeable and experienced guide who will share with you information concerning wildlife you spot in the park. Lunch will be Picnic served at the selected picnic site under acacia tree. short rest then continue with game viewing activities till in the evening where you will drive to the Camp for overnight stay. Tarangire is a startling destination to watch birds as it has a bird record of more than 500 bird species. Its swamps which are normally green year round are the common breeding vicinity for various species in the entire park. Predators found in this park are African wild dog, Cheetah, Leopard, Lion, honey badgers and caracal, Other wildlife you can see in this park includes large herds of thousands of wildebeests, zebra and Cape buffalo that can be seen, during the dry season-June to November thousands of wild animals from surrounding areas, move to the park due to availability of water that floors from Tarangire River. Common resident animals you can see in this park are a giraffe, impala, dik-dik, Grants gazelle, banded mongoose, velvet monkey, and olive monkey.

DAY 3Ngorongoro Serena LodgeThe stunning setting on the rim of the antique Ngorongoro Crater provides a gateway to memorable adventure and excursion. Enjoy a broad range of activities, from game drives on the Crater plains to guided nature walks, bush dining experiences, visits to Maasai villages and cattle markets, and much, much more.

NGORONGORO CRATER TOURYou will have an early breakfast at your Lodge before you descend into the floor of the crater for Crater Tour. Ngorongoro Crater is home for more than 260,000 wild animals and it is the good place to see Wildebeest and zebra, black Rhinoceros and Gazelles. The crater has the densest population of lions, and it is the only place you can get the black-maned lion. You will drive to the picnic site at lunch time where you will enjoy your lunch. thereafter followed by more game drive till evening.

DAY 4Serengeti Sound of silenceLocated in the Seronera area. A 40-minute drive from Seronera airstrip is a private, intimate affair between you and the raw power of the Serengeti. Almost every single night the herds of antelope and Zebras will come into the camp environment for safety whilst resting.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK-SERONERA AREAAfter breakfast, you will set off for our next destination – Serengeti national park. A journey of 145kms with an expected time of 3hours via Naabi gate. You will start game drive once you arrive at the Serengeti gate. Take lunch and have an afternoon game drives to sunset when you will drive to your Lodge for overnight. Take a game drive through the huge open plains. The park is one of the parks in Africa with the highest concentration of wildlife, dominated by big herds of plain game as zebra, wildebeest, and antelope. Serengeti has many kopjes dotted across the plain which allows attendant predators as lion and cheetah to he found here. Leopard can frequently be found draped in the trees down Seronera River.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK-Central and western corridor-Grument River-Balloon SafariWaking up in the Serengeti is truly amazing. Sound, sights and aroma of Africa are all around you. Exciting and busy day awaits you as you depart at the Lodge in the morning as you wait for an unbelievable opportunity to view all the wildlife up close and personal. Each experience is very magical, you have the option of taking a packed lunch and spent the entire day in the wilderness where you will drive to western corridor following animal location. Game drive in the park till evening while watching crocodile at the river. There are two main rivers cross this region and the permanent pools formed by Mbalageti and Grumeti make sure that animals can be seen year round. Populations of elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, lions and baboons are all resident here, but the Migration time sets a different scene entirely. Huge crocodiles lurk in anticipation of the river crossing, looking to pick off a wildebeest as their herds pitch into the waters for the other side. After your busy and exciting day of safari in this captivating area, we will return you to your accommodation in the Western Serengeti for overnight stay.
Note : For those who have booked the Balloon Safari, today you will be picked up from the lodge/camp at 05.30 hours for balloon safari departure at 06.00 hours. If you wish to book balloon safari, please let us know in advance in order to keep it. Price is $595 per person. this experience is for about one hour and a half (60-90 minute), depending on wind condition. In-flight adventure, then experience bush breakfast and champagne served, later your driver guide will pick you up for game drives. -

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK-WESTERN CORRIDOR-Grumet RiverYet another day of game drive in Western corridor-grumet area. Your driver guide will do all he can to ensure that you witness a crossing If you didn’t see one yesterday, then today offers another possibility. But the Western Corridor has much more to offer, much loved amongst our visitors is the collection of hippo pools as they wallow during daylight hours in the mud. This in fact is wildlife-spotting at its trouble-free! A local field here is the species of the black and white Colobus Monkey which is different from the ones you might see in other parts of Tanzania. The Mbalageti area also hosts the highest density of Topi in Tanzania, so keep your eyes peeled! A rare and treasured sighting would be of an African wild dog, rare-but they are definitely somewhere here. Evening you will drive to your lodge with the sights and sounds still fresh in your consciousness, it’s time to relax, eat dinner and then go to sleep.

Our recommendations are:SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – FLY OUTIn the morning after breakfast, you will have game drive en route to Kirawira Airstrip/Seronera Airstrip for Flight back to Arusha.
You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for a flight to ZANZIBAR or Flight back home. You can simply depart on this day only if you have booked domestic flights departing JRO from 19:00hrs onwards OR International Flight departs at 20:00hrs onwards. If not, you will need to book a post night accommodation for any earlier flight. -
