DAY 1Under the Shade Lodge

Kick back and relax as he takes you to the hotel in Arusha- Tanzania’s self-styled safari capital. On your way to the hotel, you will get a brief impression of this bustling commercial city. Depending on your arrival time, you may have your pre-safari briefing today, if not, it will take place early tomorrow morning.

ARUSHA - OLPOPONGI MAASAI VILLAGEWe will pick you from your overnight Hotel in the morning and drive to Olpopongi.
A visit to a MaasaiBoma (Masai village tour) is an interesting experience. On arrival at the village, you can expect to be greeted in the traditional manner, excited children and adults welcome you with song and dance, at certain times, and one of the dancers will jump up and down gracefully. The jumps are several feet high and as they jump higher the singers will raise the pitch of their voices. You will be invited to try jumping – (dancing), too. Thereafter receive a warm welcome into the unique oval, dome shaped homesteads (called Manyatta). The homesteads are made of cow dung and clay plastered over stick frames with thatched roofs, it is the job of the Maasai women to build these sturdy dwellings. Get a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history, culture and lifestyle of these Maasai. There is also the opportunity to learn about some of the customary practices, such as fire-making or beadwork, and etc.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARKIn the morning you will drive to Tarangire National Park, 1h30m/120km. You will have a game drive in Tarangire national park for the whole day (packed lunch break) followed by a game drive till evening. The park is famous for the big herds of elephants and huge baobab trees, a good variety of wildlife, rich in birdlife, flora, and fauna. The area also supports a great diversity of wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, lesser kudu, eland, Oryx, and zebra. Lion, leopard, and cheetah are also present. DAY 4:Pamoja Serengeti Luxury CampLocated in the most exclusive area of Seronera, just, to make sure that all vicinity of the Serengeti is within reach of our guests. Made up of tented suites allow a very close contact between visitors and wildlife. A unique aspect of the camp is the close nearness we achieve among the camp and the surrounding habitat. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK-seronera areaAfter breakfast is served, venture into the Serengeti Seronera for a full day of game viewing in the park. You will have a short break on the rim of the crater for a crater view. then continue as far as the eye can see is the massive open plains of Serengeti. Serengeti means, the endless plain with 18000 sq. km-6900 sq. mile park is settled by more than 2 million wildebeest. Big predators as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey that roams all over the park. Smaller animals like mongoose, honey badgers, bat-eared foxes, rock hyrax, Monkey, Baboons, African hares, and jackals are also inhabiting the area along with nearly 400 species of birds. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where the earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the evening, go to the camp/Lodge for much-needed relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 5:Mara Katikati Tented Camp

SERENGETI - Mara river AreaAfter your breakfast, depart for early morning game drive to see also night-time predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light followed by full day Serengeti national park tour putting you in a position to see lots of the animals. From mid-June to December, Thousands and thousands of wildebeest are concentrated in the northern part and some cross towards Masaimara in Kenya in search for water and pastures.You will be having game drive in this area so you can decide whether to do full day game drive with packed lunch or drive back to the camp for hot lunch later on go back for evening game drive.
The migratory and some resident wildebeest which number is over 1.5 million individuals, constitute of the largest population of vast mammals that still meander around the wild. They are united in their journey through the Serengeti-Mara bionetwork by 200,000 plains zebra, 300,000 Thompson’s and gazelle .waterbuck, impala, warthog and hippo are also plentiful. Some infrequently seen species of antelope are also present in Serengeti National Park, such as common eland, klipspringer, roan antelope, bush buck, greater kudu, fringe-eared Oryx and dikdik. Perhaps the most popular animals among tourists are the Big Five, which include: – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino (although these are rarely spotted) – to giraffe, Grant’s gazelle, impala, kongoni and topi. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at Your Lodge.

DAY 6:Mara Katikati Tented Camp

SERENGETI - Mara river AreaYet another day of game drives in Mara river. Waking up in the Serengeti is something really special. The sights, sounds, and smells of Africa are all around us, and ahead is a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park. After breakfast, we start today with the morning section of our game drive in Serengeti National Park, marveling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light, and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert driver-guide. you may decide whether you take you picnic lunches or drive back to the lodge for hot lunch and relaxation. After picnic lunch, we set off again, searching for wildlife in this awe-inspiring park. Serengeti’s wonders evolve subtly as the day progresses. The myriad animals and birds are the ‘stars of the show’ and Nature’s dramas can unfold at any time. Of course, the animals don’t work on any schedule, so we may find a lion or leopard, elephant, and zebra, cheetah, and antelope at any time on our drives. At the end of the afternoon, we return to the tented camp.

SERENGETI - Seronera areaIn the morning you will wake up a bit earlier to enjoy sunrise game drive. Then drive to central Serengeti, Seronera area. You will be having 1night here. Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest and most famous National Park. The word Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language and appropriately means “endless plain. You will take a game drive through the massive open plains. The park is one of the parks in Africa with highest concentration of wildlife. The park is dominated by huge herds of plains game such as zebra, wildebeest and antelope. SERENGETI - NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREAToday you will have morning breakfast, then it’s time to drive eastwards to visit another spectacular setting for Tanzania’s wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro crater arriving in the evening for overnight stay.Besides the stunning scenery one of the main attraction of this area is the variety of flora and fauna found remarkably compact area all around the year. Ngorongoro is the best place to see the black rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles. The crater also has the densest known population of lions and it’s the place you can find the black manned lion.
<p>It is possible to do walking safari on the rim of the crater (optional activities) after crater tour. The walking safari will take about 3-4hrs before going back to the Lodge for overnight.

NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR - FLY TO ZANZIBARThe stunning crater of Ngorongoro is a unique home for many species of Tanzania’s wildlife. With some luck, you may even see a black Rhinoceros here.</p>
Besides the stunning scenery, one of the main attractions of this area is the variety of flora and fauna found in remarkably compact area all around the year.
At one side there is Lerai Forest, a classic mountain forest landscape with almost tropical characteristics. This is good elephant country, so keep your eyes peeled. By the side of the nearby swampland is what is sometimes called the ‘elephant graveyard’ as the mighty male tuskers at the end of their lives come to chew on the soft, swampland grasses once their teeth have failed them.
After breakfast, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in the Crater. Followed by packed lunch served at the selected picnic site. More game drive in the Crater till evening where you will drive to the rim of the Crater for your overnight stay. Ngorongoro is the best place to see black rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles. It has the densest known population of lions around 120 with well-defined territories and it’s the place you can find the black manned lion, with well-defined territories, up to 15,000 wildebeest and 9,000 thousand zebras, 400 hyenas, and around 50 black Rhinocerous. Many wildebeest and other herd animals are resident, benefiting from the many sources of year-round waters and are boosted by some migratory in season. Eland, Thomson gazelle, and Buffalo are also present in numbers. Hippos can be seen in pools and swampland, Flamingos can frequently be seen in Lake Magadi, which occupies part of the crater floor. Highland bird-life is colorful and abundant around the waters.
After lunch you will be transferred to Arusha for evening FLIGHT to ZANZIBAR. On arrival in ZANZIBAR you will be collected by our incredibly knowledgeable and informative guide and go on an enjoyable tour of Stone Town mystical town that is the cultural and historical heart of Zanzibar, (optional activities). The tour is a historical and cultural journey dedicated to the discovery of ancient life of the city. Some of the historical sites you will visit include the market, the historic fort, and the Freddie Mercury House. In the afternoon you will depart Stone town and head north to your beach hotel.
