KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT-ARUSHAArrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (1hour-53kms drive), where you will be met and transferred to Arusha town for overnight stay at the hotel. Depends on arrival time you may be able to do shopping of necessary things before Safari but also change money and get local currencies. Or go out to visit Arusha town and Souvenir shops or Maasai Market.

DAY 2Olea Africana LodgeLocated in Karatu in the farming area, very close to Ngorongoro crater Tanzania. Beautiful location setting with good hospitality. The hotel has a large room with a fireplace and its own verandah. The rooms have very good views of the Ngorongoro crater forest.

ARUSHA-TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARKDepart in the morning by road to Tarangire National Park located 120kms out of Arusha town, about 1h30minutes drive. On arrival at the Park gate you will complete Park registration official procedures and enjoy a game drive in the park with your knowledgeable and experienced guide who will share with you information concerning wildlife you spot in the park. Lunch will be Picnic served at the selected picnic site under an acacia tree. short rest then continue with game viewing activities till in the evening where you will drive to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Tarangire is a haven for bird lovers as 500 hundred bird species were recorded in the park. Predators in this park are Lion, Leopard, cheetah, honey badgers, caracal and an African wild dog, Other wildlife you can see in this park includes large herds of thousands of wildebeests, zebra and Cape buffalo that can be seen, during the dry season-June to November thousands of wild animals from surrounding areas, move to the park due to availability of water that floors from Tarangire River. Common resident animals you can see in this park are a giraffe, impala, dik-dik, Grants gazelle, banded mongoose, velvet monkey, and olive monkey. -

NGORONGORO CRATER TOURBreakfast served at the Lodge, then drive up to Ngorongoro crater highlands-(conservation area), brief stopping at the rim of the crater for a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater which is home of more than 270,000 wild animals. Descend down for game drive in the crater till afternoon where you will drive to the picnic site for Lunch. picnic lunch served near the hippo pool, thereafter you will have a game drive till evening. where you will drive to the lodge for overnight stay. Besides the dramatic scenery of this Crater, one of the main attractions is the variety of flora and fauna found in an amazingly compact area all around the year. The crater is the best area to see black rhinoceros, Lions, Gazelles, Zebras, and wildebeest. You start game drive once you arrive at the Serengeti Seronera gate. Game drive en-route towards Mara river area arriving in the evening. You will have an evening game drive to sunset by the river where you will be watching crocodiles.

Our recommendations are:SERENGETI-DRIVE TO ARUSHAWake up a bit earlier, have a cup of coffee or tea then enjoy sunrise game drive which is the most beautiful experience in Serengeti one can encounter in African Savanna!the Sights, sounds, and smells of Africa are all around you. Drive back to the camp for fully breakfast and depart Serengeti to Arusha, you will have game drive en route, arriving Arusha around 16:00hrs. Drop off at Kilimanjaro international Airport for flight back home or to Zanzibar. You can simply depart on this day only if you have booked domestic flights departing JRO from 19:00hrs onwards OR International Flight departs at 20:00hrs onwards. If not, you will need to book a post night accommodation for any earlier flight.
