ARUSHA - FLY TO SERENGETIRelaxed breakfast served, you will head for Arusha Airport where you will catch mid morning Flight to Serengeti-Seronera Airstrip, where you will meet your driver guide. On arrival you will be transferred to your lodge to enjoy a hot meal before you begin safari adventure exploring the endless plains of Serengeti. You will embarking on an afternoon game drive in the area till sunset. Envision a mix of woodland and open grassland! In this area visitors expecting good game viewing right through the year round, while end May throughout June is common for the Great Migration to cross the Western Corridor but depends on the timing of the rains. NGORONGORO CRATER TOURThe stunning crater of Ngorongoro is a unique home for many species of Tanzania’s wildlife. With some luck, you may even see a black Rhinoceros here. Besides the stunning scenery, one of the main attractions of this area is the variety of flora and fauna found in remarkably compact area all around the year. At one side there is Lerai Forest, a classic mountain forest landscape with almost tropical characteristics. It is a good elephant country so make your eyes open. Go to nearby marshland, where they an elephant graveyard where Male tuskers at the end of their lives come to chew on the soft, swampland grasses once their teeth have failed them.
Breakfast will be served at the camp, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in the Crater. Followed by packed lunch served at the selected picnic site. More game drive in the Crater till evening where you will drive to the rim of the Crater for your overnight stay.
The Crater is best to sport black rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles, has more than 25 wild animals. It has the densest known population of lions around 120, well defined territories and it’s the place you can find the black manned lion, with well-defined territories, up to 15,000 wildebeest and 9,000 thousand zebras, 400 hyenas, and around 50 black Rhinocerous. Many wildebeest and other herd animals are resident, benefiting from the many sources of year-round waters and are boosted by some migratory in season. Eland, Thomson gazelle, and Buffalo are also present in numbers. Hippos can be seen in pools and swampland, Flamingos can frequently be seen in Lake Magadi, which occupies part of the crater floor. Birdlife is colorful and abundant around the waters. -

During the dry season-June to November, the park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem and its wetland in the south area of the park supports more than 300 hundred bird species. With fewer tourists than other parks. Many animals migrate to its river for drinking water. The park is home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle while gerenuk and fringe-eared Oryx are ‘local specialties and can rival Serengeti for total animal densities. Lake Burungi swampy shoreline are the attract for these Mammals while the water attract beautiful stunning bird variety too. Find out Hoopoes, a giant kingfishers, and the charmingly named white bellied go away bird. Talk to your guide to find you an Agama lizard especially a male one who changes color in front of you according to the temperature. You can find a solitary Male lion stretched out under a tree, a Male cheetah have a little lazy bonding time in the sun. Perhaps graceful Grant’s gazelle and zebra bounding away from the road or a couple of giraffe munching happily from acacia branches, look out for kudu and oryx.

Our recommendations are:TARANGIRE-ARUSHAMorning relaxation at your camp. Followed by hot lunch served before you depart to Arusha for overnight stay transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for a flight back home or go to Zanzibar. You can simply depart on this day only if you have booked domestic flights departing JRO from 19:00hrs onwards OR International Flight departs from 20:00hrs onwards. If not, you will need to book post-night accommodation for an earlier flight.
